The frequency range of the MFS-500A 500KW IGBT type medium frequency generator is from 1KHZ to 10KHZ. Designed based on customers' actual billets size dimensions, MFS-500A adopts the standard voltage 3 phase 380V/50HZ; whereas, the equipment can also be customized according to customers' local voltage standards so as to make itself suitable for local power supply.
As for its applications, MFS-500A is mainly employed in the billets forging heating, parts heat treatment, tube hot heating and metal scrap melting. For the billets forging heating furnace, it is often used to heat the bars with the diameter ranging from 20mm to 200mm; as for the parts heat treatment, MFS-500A is normally used for the heat treatment of parts, and the layer hardening depth is usually more than 5mm; for the tube hot heating, this machine is then normally employed for drill pipe heating, tube hot bending and elbow making, and the diameter of the processed tubes is normally from 2 inches to 30 inches; as for the melting, MFS-500A is then mainly used for steel/iron/copper melting, and its running capacity is from 15kg to 500kg.
Moreover, equipped with the HMI with the functions of both manual/automatic control, MFS-500A can also display its own working parameters and indicate alarming situations. Thus, similar to other induction heating equipment produced by JKZ, MFS-500A can also realize self-protection during sudden high voltage or peak current.
The control system has the ability of store 40 groups of parts data, and each group allows a set of 20 segments time/temperature.
These functions make the machine more universal in variable applications.
